iBall warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship during the warranty period. If a product proves to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, iBall will, at its sole option, repair or replace the part/product with a similar part / product. Replacement product or parts may include remanufactured or refurbished parts or components. The replacement unit will be covered by the balance of the time remaining on the customer’s original limited warranty. iBall provides no warranty for the products malfunctioning due to third-party software licensed or otherwise installed by the customer.

iBall products shall carry such period warranty as is specified for each product and the warranty service type applicable shall be “Carry-in” only. [Warranty for each product is specified on the website www.iball.co.in].

  1. During the warranty period iBall will at no additional charge, replace defective parts or products with new parts or serviceable parts or products that are equivalent to new parts or products in performance. All replaced or exchanged parts which are removed under this warranty will become the property of iBall.

  2. Software related faults resulting from incorrect installation of software (except where the software is installed by iBall), the failure of the product to perform any purpose other than its intended purpose and viruses or bugs shall not be considered as product faults.

  3. Repair or replacement will be carried out through the Company’s Service Centres or its Authorised Service Centres. The list for the same can be made available from any of the Company’s offices or its website www.iball.co.in

  4. In the event of repairs / replacement of any part(s) of the product, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty. Moreover, the time taken for repair / replacement and in transit whether under the warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period.

  5. The Company or its authorised service centre / service dealer shall retain all parts or component(s) replaced.

  6. The Company’s obligation under this “Limited Warranty” shall be limited to repairing or providing replacement of product/part(s), which are found to be defective.

  7. Repairs during warranty period shall be carried on “Carry in” basis. Wherein for service the purchaser shall bring the product to the service centre, the warranty does not cover cost of transportation of system/product from place of installation/use to the service centre and vice versa.

  8. In the event of any service availed from iBall on chargeable basis, the charges for the same has to be paid at the service centre in advance.

  9. In the event of obsolescence of a product or any other reason whatsoever, if iBall is not able to repair/replace the product during the warranty period, it may either offer an alternative product or give compensatory amount based on the depreciation of the product. The decision of iBall shall be final. Presently the depreciation will be considered as below:

    • One year or part thereof…..50%
    • After one year….up-to two years……70%
    • After two years….up-to three years….90%

  10. To obtain warranty service, iBall may require the original proof of purchase.

  11. The warranty does not cover:

    1. Any product, on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.
    2. Any physical damage.
    3. Damages, deterioration or malfunction resulting from :

      • Accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature, unauthorized product modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.
      • Repair or attempted repair by any one not authorized by iBall
      • Damage to or loss of any programs, data or removable storage media.
      • Software or data loss occurring during repair or replacement or during usage of the product.
      • Any damage of the product due to shipment.
      • Removal or installation of product.
      • Causes external to the product, such as electric power fluctuations or failure.
      • Use of supplies or parts not meeting iBall’s specification.
      • Normal wear and tear.
      • Failure of owner to perform periodic product maintenance as stated in the User Guide.
      • Any other causes which does not relate to product defect.
      • Damage caused by static (non- removing) images displayed for lengthy period of time (also referred to as image burn- in).
      • Damage to, or abuse of, the coating on the surface of the display.
      • Demonstration / installation of the product purchased.
      • Accessories external to the system.
      • Use of product within an improper or inappropriate operating environment.
      • The serial numbers or warranty seal of the product being removed or defaced.
      • A claim for missing software or accessories not reported within 3 working days after purchase.

  12. Exclusion of damages/ claims/compensation etc
    iBall liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the part/ product. iBall shall not be liable for:

    • Any Damage to any other property or product or person caused by any defects in the product.
    • Any claim for compensation due to inconvenience, loss due to use of the product, loss of time, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, loss of goodwill, interference with business relationships, or other commercial loss etc.
    • Any other damages/ compensation/loss etc whether incidental, consequential or otherwise.
    • Any claim against the customer by any other party

  13. Limitation of liability under “Limited Warranty”.
    Except for the warranties set forth herein, iBall disclaims all other warranties, expressed or implied or statutory, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

    Any implied warranties that may be imposed by applicable laws are limited to the terms of this limited warranty. In no event shall iBall be liable for any incidental, special or consequential, damages or claim, including but not limited to loss of business, profits, data or use, whether in an action in contract or tort or based on a warranty, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the product, even if iBall has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

    If, despite the foregoing limitation and as agreed by the purchaser herein under, for any reason iBall becomes liable for damages incurred by the purchaser in connection with this agreement, then the liability of iBall will be limited to only the amount equal to the invoice amount paid by the purchaser to iBall or an iBall authorized reseller for the product.

    It is further clarified that iBall under this “Limited Warranty” shall be responsible and liable as stated only to the extent of replacement/ repair of the part/s or product as the case may be during the warranty period and shall not be responsible nor liable for any claim, damages, loss or compensation for mental agony, anxiety etc. due to any loss of whatsoever nature.

  14. iBall Crystal Clear LCD Monitor Warranty Policy:
    iBall LCD monitors are warranted for three (3) years / 36 months for parts, labor and LCD backlight. If LCD proves to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, iBall will repair or replace the LCD. Replacement parts may include remanufactured or refurbished parts or components. The replacement unit will be covered by the balance of the time remaining on customer’s original limited warranty.
    All the clauses of iBall Product Warranty terms would be applicable for iBall LCD Monitors.

    DOA Warranty:
    If LCD proves to be defective in material or workmanship within the first 7 days of purchase, iBall will consider it as DOA and will replace the LCD with a new piece. After DOA period all cases will be considered under standard warranty. The replacement unit will be covered by the balance of the time remaining on customer’s original limited warranty.

    Pixel Defect Criteria for iBall LCD Monitors:
    A pixel is composed of three sub pixels, one red, one green, and one blue. Individual defective sub pixel control circuits can cause the corresponding sub pixel to be permanently lit (red, green or blue bright pixel) or may not light at all (dark pixel). This is classed as defective pixel.

  15. All matters related with warranty on iBall products shall be subject to Mumbai jurisdiction.
